Made famous in the Disney “Up” movie, this Seattle house was to be donated to the OPAL Land Trust and moved to Orcas Island. CDA was hired to document and plan the move by Nickols Bros barge to Orcas. OPAL obtains inexpensive homes and moves them to the Island, bringing affordable housing for moderate income families.  CDA has worked to bring three other homes to Orcas Island and prepare them for sale. Very challenging and rewarding work.
